The Address

The Address is a site-responsive piece that follows Natasha and her guests (the audience) as she gives a house-viewing of her derelict family home. As her guests travel through the rooms, Natasha shares the memories of her childhood leading to the entanglement of her past and present state. It appears that the house is falling apart at it's seams and is being renovated throughout the production. The normality of this naturalistic condition is tested through installation and design. By the end of the piece, Natasha's memories will become more dominant and vivid haunting the space through various forms of mixed media e.g. audio/film.

This production is a 25-minute promenade piece that allows audience members to become their own curators of the site, despite having narrative cues that encourage them to move to certain places at certain times.
